RSO BINA SENA

ISO 9001 Certified

"RSO PT Bina Sena Bahari Sentosa is committed to ensuring quality in internal management and service delivery to all clients by implementing the ISO 9001:2015 quality management system."

By implementing an internationally standardized quality management system, it is hoped that it will provide quality service to all clients and increase trust in the services provided by RSO PT Bina Sena Bahari Sentosa.

Initial ISPS Code

Every ship operating internationally and port facility serving ships on international routes is required to obtain ISPS Code certification issued by the Directorate General of Sea Transportation.

The certification process can be carried out through a Recognized Security Organization (RSO), which has the competence and expertise to conduct security assessments of port facilities and ships. Port facilities that meet security requirements will receive a Statement of Compliance of a Port Facility (SoCPF). Ships that have completed the security assessment will be issued an International Ship Security Certificate (ISSC). Each certificate is valid for five years and can be extended if implementation requirements are met.

Training ISPS Code

The security of ships and port facilities is achieved through the reliability and competence of the personnel involved in security. All personnel on ships and port facilities are required to obtain certification according to the type of course specified by the International Maritime Organization (IMO).

PT Bina Sena Bahari Sentosa, which is responsible for organizing IMO Model Course training, is ready to assist port facilities and ships in obtaining personnel certification. We provide training with comfortable facilities, a variety of merchandise, and professional and experienced instructors.

Public training is held monthly or according to the participant quota. We also accommodate in-house training requests at competitive prices.

Verification Assistance

Assistance and preparation for verification audit activities by auditors from the local KPLP Directorate or KSOP until approval or issuance of the latest SoCPF certificate is obtained.

RSO PT Bina Sena Bahari Sentosa, which also acts as a consultant, provides assistance services for audits or verification of ISPS Code implementation on ships and port facilities conducted by external parties, namely the KPLP Directorate and the local KSOP. We will assist in preparing compliance documents, scheduling with auditors, arranging mobilization, transportation, and accommodation, closing findings, and assisting port facilities in approval/issuance of the latest SoCPF certificate.

Drill & Exercise

As stipulated in the ISPS Code and laws and regulations, every ship and port facility that complies with the ISPS Code is required to conduct drills every three months and exercises every twelve months. RSO PT Bina Sena Bahari Sentosa has an experienced team and consultants ready to assist port facilities in preparing training scenarios, inviting external stakeholders such as the local KSOP (Office of the Port Authority), the Police, the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), and other stakeholders, as well as preparing and approving training reports by local KSOP officials. The type of training used is tailored to the needs and requirements of the port facility.

The Bina Sena Bahari Sentosa RSO team also provides assistance in the implementation of the ISPS Code at port facilities. Each activity prioritizes outreach and education, ensuring that personnel understand their duties and responsibilities. This is especially true for port facilities that are already ISPS Code compliant.
